Is there a charge for
treatment?
Every individual is charge a $40.00 intake fee (unless
subsidized by third party payment). Other services are based on
a fee schedule. The Triage Coordinator at each office can give
further information regarding costs.
Do
you accept Medicaid or other insurance?
Yes. A copy of your insurance cards are required at intake.
Do you receive
government funding?
We receive State funding
through Value Options. Local government funds also subsidize
the operational costs of providing service at a low cost.
What kind of staff do you have and what are their credentials?
We employ a highly qualified professional staff. Our medical
director is an MD psychiatrist. Our medical services consist of
medication management for both addiction and mental health
disorders. Our Director of Nursing is a Certified Nurse
Specialist who manages the Opioid Replacement Therapy program
and oversees four nurses. (see org. chart) Our
psychotherapeutic services are provided by independently
licensed therapists and by BA level/LADAC certified case
managers. We offer services in Spanish for mono-lingual
patients.

We are audited by the Drug
Enforcement Agency,
New Mexico Board of
Pharmacy, New Mexico
Department of Health Facility Licensing and Division of Health
Improvement,
Value Options, CLIA,
CARF,
CSAT and local government
funding sources.
Who do we complain to if we are not satisfied with your
services?
Ayudantes has a patient grievance process in place and if there
is no resolution then any of the above agencies can also be
contacted to submit a complaint about the agency.
