PROGRAMS

The programs that are offered by Ayudantes are as follows:


PRIMA

The PRIMA program is for seriously, emotionally disturbed and high risk children, adolescents, and their families. The following treatments are provided:

Family Therapy
     The entire family is encouraged to participate.

Individual Therapy
     Family members can be seen separately until the time a family session is appropriate. Play therapy and art therapy are the therapies of choice for young children.

Group Therapy
     Groups consist of 8 or fewer participants who attend a 6 to 8 week cycle of sessions, depending on the subject. Subjects include, but are not limited to, self-esteem for children of divorce; children of chemically dependent families; art therapy for adolescents; and values clarification for young adolescents.


SCAMP

The SCAMP (Santa Fe Community Alcohol Management Program) program is an alcohol management program emphasizing self-empowerment through:

  • Alcohol Education
  • Relationship Therapy
  • Style of Life Exploration
  • Stress Management
  • Value Clarification
  • Nutrition Education
  • DWI/Substance Abuse Groups
Gender Specific groups are available.

SCAMP services are provided during lunch hours and often work hours to accomodate paticipants busy schedules
